A fantastic example of the Crinoid species Scyphocrinites from the Erfound desert Morocco.
A truly stunning crinoid from morocco with great three dimensional detail,crinoids although looking like plants were infact animals that filtered plankton through there long feathery arms although they are commonly called sea lillies they are echinoderms as is the starfish and sea urchin.
This is a large and heavy peice,please contact me regarding postage,pick up from me is prefered.
[after years of mining, this location has run dry of these crinoids,many of the later ones brought to the market are of poor quality,to see one with this definition these days is getting rare]
