A beautiful large polished nautilus from madagascar.
This is a lovely example of this species of nautilus,showing at the "mouth" of the nautilus is the siphuncle which is quite rarely seen on these nautiliods.
A fantastic contrast in colours and a heavy weight make this a very tactile piece,this is a perfect display piece,and would look great in anyones collection.
