A fantasic example of the middle lias ammonite Lytoceras from eype Dorset.
This ammonite has been cut and polished to reveal a lovely colourful interia with deep chambers with calcite crystals inside.
Becoming increasingly hard to find at this location, this ammonite is a stunning specimen,very asthetic and displayable,great for home decor or for the discerning collector.
